National Theatre Connections Audition 2026
Are you between 13 and 19 years old and passionate about acting and drama? Looking to kick off the new year with an exciting project? Berzerk Productions invites you to audition for this year's National Theatre Connections project! Open auditions for our upcoming National Theatre Connection Production (pending play allocation from National Theatre) on Sunda,y 4th January 2026
Important Information
Auditions: Sunday 4th January 2026 from 9.45am – 1:00pm
Recalls & cast readthrough: Sunday 11th January 2025 from 11.00am – 1pm
Rehearsal Dates (Sundays): January 18th, 25th, February, 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd 2026 from 12.45pm – 4pm
Tech/dress rehearsals & performance dates: February 23rd (Tech/dress), 24th, 25th, 26th (Performance) 2026
Partner Theatre Performance Date: TBC

Partner Theatre Location: The Northwall, S Parade, Summertown, Oxford OX2 7JN
Age Suitability: Age 13 - 19 years old
The audition will be workshop-based/ where the students will explore a group work. We are not necessarily interested in the best performer. We will be looking for cast members with a good work ethic, ability to work in a team and confidence
It is advised that each person attending the audition read the script, research the characters and learn a monologue from the play by heart. This can be found in the Dropbox link in the reply email when you have submitted this form.
Partner Theatre Performance
Our partner theatre performance for National Theatre Connections 2026 will take place on TBC at the The Northwall Theatre, Oxford. Attendance is mandatory, so please make appropriate travel arrangements.
We encourage carpooling to support one another. If you can offer or would like to join a carpool, let us know, and we’ll help coordinate.
The successful applicant will be contacted via telephone on the afternoon of the audition.
PLEASE NOTE the below before auditioning! Parents must be aware of this commitment part please and consent to a contract being completed if the child is successful in the auditions.
There is a £5.00 audition fee to be brought on the day.
Berzerk Productions is a training programme and a non-returnable show fee of £300 will be payable for this project. Bursary spots are available to those from disadvantaged backgrounds. This includes all costume and production costs fully. All cast members under 16 years will be licensed for this performance. More info on this will be given to successful auditionees.
The show dates are booked for 24th – 26th February 2026 at TBC. The intensive rehearsals will be Sundays (January - February) 12:45pm – 4:00pm at TBC and Half term week 16th – 20th February 2026 from 10am - 3pm Location TBC (Some schools will have different half term dates and you may not be able to audition) All these dates must be attended.
