Our sessions are influenced by the work of drama-in-education pioneer Dorothy Heathcote, particularly her Mantle of the Expert approach. This method places pupils at the centre of the learning experience, encouraging them to take ownership of ideas, solve problems creatively and explore topics through role and storytelling.

Rather than simply watching or listening, pupils become active participants in the learning process. Through carefully structured drama activities, children explore situations, characters and challenges that encourage them to think critically, collaborate with others and communicate their ideas with confidence.

This approach allows pupils to engage deeply with creative tasks while developing skills that support learning across the wider curriculum.
