The Lightning Play

Jacklyn:
Have you got another one?  I’m starving.
Sits
Its rambling does it to me – gives me a appetite.  I love it, though – I mean normally wilder than this - but I like it like this – cold and a bit drizzly.
I think it’s such a magical time, Halloween.  Intense.  The gates are wide open and the dead can walk among the living!  I love all that!
You’re Eddie aren’t you?
I heard to chatting to one of the others on the last ramble.  You were talking about – well, it doesn’t really matter.  I just felt like I knew you already – in a weird sort of way.  I don’t suppose you’d even noticed me?
Im Jacklyn, by the way, but most people call me Jack.
So the thing is – I’ve got this really strong sense that you should – that we should – I know you probably think I’m a bit - I don’t normally do it this way round – but I felt like I should be a little bit brave and see if you’d like to take me out for a drink.  No pressure!  Just a one-off sort of thing.  But if you don’t want to that’s fine.
Sometimes I'm just too open for my own good.
